Kudo Chicken and Vegetable Puppy and Junior Cold Pressed Food
Kudo is one of the highest meat content cold-pressed foods we’ve ever stocked! The Chicken recipe contains 33% dehydrated chicken meat, 13% chicken fat and 5% chicken liver – which may not seem like a lot at first glance, but lets break it down:
Kudo starts with fresh meat, which naturally contains around 70% moisture. That moisture is gently removed before the chicken are blended with the other ingredients. What remains is the same meat, just without the water, meaning the percentage on the label reflects the true amount of meat in your dog’s bowl.
Approximately 1.2–1.5 kg of fresh meat is used to produce every 1 kg of Kudo cold-pressed food. That’s three times more meat than some other leading cold pressed brands. The Puppy and Junior food contains the essential nutrients to help your dog grow into a healthy and happy adult dog.
The benefits of feeding cold pressed dog food
Cold-pressed dog food is made differently from traditional dry dog food. Most kibble is produced using high-temperature extrusion, where ingredients are cooked at very high heat before being shaped into pellets.
Cold-pressed food is made at much lower temperatures, where the ingredients are gently pressed together instead. This gentler process helps preserve the integrity of the ingredients and produces a food that breaks down more easily during digestion. Additionally; cold pressed food does not swell in the stomach in the same was as many traditional kibbles, making it a better choice for dogs who are prone to bloat.
