Giardia is a microscopic parasite that infects the intestines of many animals, including dogs and cats. Animals usually become infected by drinking contaminated water, eating contaminated food, or coming into contact with infected feces.

Some symptoms include:

• Acute or sudden diarrhea
• Greasy looking stools  
• Soft or watery stool with mucus and a foul odor 
• Abdominal discomfort  

Young, elderly, or immunocompromised animals are more likely to experience severe symptoms.

This at home kit is quick and easy to use, using a fresh stool sample. Having one of these at home allows you to diagnose your dog and get them the care they need as quickly as possible.

Each test includes 1 x Disposable Test Cassette, 1 x Disposable Pipette, 1 x Sample Collection Tool With Extraction Buffer, and a set of instructions.

In depth instructions will be provided with your test, but as an over view here is how to use it:

1 .Gather your sample : Use the disposable sample collector on solid stool samples or the pipette for liquid stool. 1 - 2g or 1 - 2ml of stool for each sample.

2. Preform the test: place sample into the buffer solution and shake vigorously to mix. Let it stand for 2 minutes. Open your cassette test and place on a flat surface. Add 2 drops of the solution onto the test.

3. Read your results: Give the test 10 minutes and check the results. 20 minutes after adding the sample to the test the results are void so be prompt and read your results fast.
