The Gut Protocol Bundle - Transitioning to Raw
We have created the Gut Protocol Bundle to support your dog's transition to a raw food diet. These specially selected supplements will help rebuild your dog's gut microbiome, reduce gut inflammation and strengthen your dog's gut lining. All issues that commonly need to be addressed after years of highly processed foods.
Holistic Hound Tummies - Pre & Probiotics
Holistic Hound Tummies is designed to support your dog’s digestive system with a blend of prebiotics, probiotics and gut-friendly ingredients. Prebiotics help feed the good bacteria already present in your dog’s gut, while probiotics help add beneficial bacteria to support a healthier microbiome.
This can be especially helpful during the transition to raw, when your dog’s digestive system may need time to adjust. Supporting the gut microbiome can help encourage better digestion, improved nutrient absorption and more balanced stools.
We recommend using one pouch of Tummies during the transition period. However, if your dog struggles with ongoing digestive issues or sensitive skin, it may be beneficial to use it for longer to give the gut more time and support.
Karnlea Beef Bone Broth
Beef bone broth is a lovely addition during your dog’s raw food transition. It is gentle on the digestive system and provides naturally occurring collagen and amino acids, which help support the gut lining.
It can also be a great way to add extra moisture and flavour to meals, which may be helpful if your dog is adjusting to a new food or is a little unsure at first.
We recommend using bone broth during the beginning of your dog’s raw food transition.
Atlas & Tail Salmon Oil 500ml
Atlas & Tail Salmon Oil is a natural source of Omega 3 fatty acids, which are helpful for supporting skin, coat, joints, immunity and overall wellbeing.
Omega 3s can also be useful for dogs who are transitioning from highly processed food, as they help support a healthy inflammatory response and contribute to a balanced diet.
Omega 3 can be difficult to provide through food alone unless your dog is eating oily fish regularly. If you aren’t feeding fish a couple of times a week, we recommend keeping your dog on salmon oil long term.
