Atlas & Tail - 100% Pure PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) Micronized Powder (40g)
At Atlas and Tail, we offer safe and natural solutions to support your pet's health and well-being. Our P.E.A Palmitoylethanolamide Powder is a naturally occurring compound that works to reduce inflammation and provide relief from chronic pain, especially in pets dealing with conditions like arthritis, allergies, and age-related discomfort.
PEA works with your pet’s body to manage inflammation, improving mobility and easing pain without the unwanted side effects that sometimes come with traditional pain relief methods. It’s well-tolerated, safe, and effective, making it a great choice for long-term support.
At Atlas & Tail, we use OptiPEA®, a premium, pharmaceutical-grade PEA manufactured in Europe under strict EU GMP standards. Made in a state-of-the-art facility by a team of PhD chemists, it undergoes rigorous quality control at every stage to ensure purity, safety, and reliability. By using a micronized formula, we enhance absorption, distribution, and overall effectiveness, ensuring your pet gets the most out of every dose.
How Does PEA Work?
PEA works by interacting with your pet’s systems to reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. It activates a receptor known as PPAR-α, which helps turn off the production of pain-causing substances. By regulating the immune system and calming overreactions, PEA targets the root cause of the problem without numbing your pet’s normal pain responses.

Conditions PEA Helps With
-
Pain Relief – PEA is effective for managing chronic pain, including arthritis and nerve pain. Dogs with osteoarthritis, for example, show reduced pain and improved mobility with regular PEA use. Unlike traditional painkillers, PEA doesn’t cause sedation, making it a more natural alternative for long-term pain management.

Inflammation Reduction – PEA helps reduce inflammation by regulating substances that cause swelling and tissue damage. This makes it beneficial for pets suffering from joint pain, skin irritation, and other inflammatory conditions. It works without suppressing the immune system, unlike steroids.

Joint Health & Mobility – For senior pets or those with arthritis, PEA improves joint health and mobility by reducing pain and inflammation. This can significantly enhance your pet’s quality of life, keeping them active and mobile without relying on harsh painkillers.

Nerve Pain & Neurological Conditions – PEA also supports pets with nerve pain from conditions such as intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) or spinal issues. It reduces inflammation in nerve tissue, providing relief from pain and improving overall nerve health.

Allergy & Immune System Support – PEA helps manage allergies and immune system issues by stabilizing mast cells, which release histamine during allergic reactions. By preventing the overreaction of these cells, PEA can help reduce itching, swelling, and irritation, especially in pets with allergies or skin problems.

Digestive & Gut Health – For pets with digestive issues such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or colitis, PEA helps by reducing gut inflammation, which can improve symptoms like diarrhea and stomach discomfort.

Why We Use Micronized PEA
PEA works best when it is micronized—broken down into smaller particles for better absorption. Micronized PEA provides faster relief and more consistent results, allowing your pet to experience the full benefits more quickly.

Comparison to Traditional Painkillers
PEA provides a safe, natural alternative to traditional painkillers like NSAIDs and steroids. It doesn’t cause the gastrointestinal or kidney issues sometimes associated with other pain medications. Instead, PEA works gently with your pet’s body to relieve pain and inflammation, making it ideal for long-term use.

Safety & Long-Term Use
PEA has an excellent safety profile for long-term use. It’s non-toxic, non-addictive, and generally well-tolerated by pets. There are no known serious side effects, and it doesn’t require the same monitoring as other pain medications. PEA works naturally with your pet’s body, providing consistent comfort without the risks associated with harsher medications.

If you’re looking for a safe, natural way to help manage your pet’s pain, inflammation, and overall well-being, PEA might be the solution you’ve been seeking. It offers long-term comfort and support for your pet, without the unwanted side effects that often come with traditional pain medications.
Note:
PEA is not an instant pain reliever. It typically takes 7-14 days for noticeable improvements, as it gradually builds up to effective levels in the body. Consistent use is key for maximum benefits.
It’s best to consult with your veterinarian before giving your dog PEA, particularly if they are on other pain medication.
